Updated Master Site Plan Announced for Beacon Island
August 10, 2009 -- An updated master plan has been announced for Beacon Island, based on recent changes in the real estate market and new indications of consumer demand. A new subdivision platt has been filed with the City of League City. The new platt expands the number of estate lots. Eighteen single family, waterfront estate lots are now being offered for sale, beginning at $425,000.

Beacon Island Sponsors 2008 Christmas Boat Lane Parade
Dec. 12, 2008 -- Beacon Island developer pledged sponsorship to the 2008 Christmas Boat Lane Parade and looks forward to many future parades in the years to come. The traditional lighting ceremony from Beacon Island that signals the start of the parade will be deferred until 2009 when permanent electrical power is restored to the Island.
